The Importance of Arts, Culture, The Creative Process, and how this project resonates with you. I am a firm believer int he power of of the arts and humanities and this project deeply resonates with me as the founding director of Citizen TALES Commonss, a non-profit organization with 150 artists and scholars from 35 countries that empowers its members through an open academic and creative forum that values cross-pollination, collaboration, sharing of resourcees and envisions a bettwe future for everyone.

What was the inspiration for your creative work?
I draw inspiration by Surrealism with which i becasme familiar very early in my life and since then I honor the surrealist spirit in all aspects of my life in the sense that there is a outburst of creativity that allows me to incessantly discover miracles of the quotidian,

Tell us something about the natural world that you love and don’t wish to lose. What are your thoughts on the kind of world we are leaving for the next generation?
I grew up in a small mountainous village facing the ocean and steeped in orchards of almond trees and the scent of acacias and chamomile while in the summer all surrounding wheat fields would endow it with a golden aura. This is the scenery that I want to preserve not only in my mind as a memory but also as a reality to be bequeathed to the next generation. I know we can do it if we all act ethically, conscientiously and synergistically. I also know that the arts and the humanities togehters with sciences and innovation can find solutions to the devastating climate change that occurs on our planet.
